Used laminators - tips and recommendations ?

Hi all, I work for a screen printing shop that wants to get more into sign making. They already have a great large format printer and nice vinyl, but they've been laminating everything cold and by hand...! it's a mom and pop shop and they aren't ready to invest in really awesome equipment, so I was wondering if any of you would have any tips on purchasing a used laminator ? They almost exclusively use one type of vinyl if that helps.
