using cast laminate over calendered vinyl?

Okay, normally I use cast laminate over cast vinyl and calendered laminate over calendered vinyl...but here's my situation. I just ran out of calendared laminate. I'm laminating 11" x 28" interior bus ad cards then mounting to a cardstock backing.

Laminate = 2mil cast (lamex)
Vinyl = Orajet calendered

So a high quality, vehicle wrap laminate over cheap calendered vinyl. I wouldn't think it would be a problem. What say you?

Yep - no problem. I'd personally not bother laminating the interior cards though. Been doing them for about 5 years here and have never laminated one. Pretty much the same production though - print on cheapo vinyl and mount to posterboard stock. Cut to size...
