Hi Folks,
Does anyone have any experience setting up flexi files for use with a Summa F1612. We have had our machine installed and we are running Flexi on 2 design stations and 1 production station that has Flexi and Production Manager. I have no idea how to setup the files to use and neither did our installer. He was familiar with the Onyx work flow. Help!!
Thanks

I use Flexi with my Summa F1612 daily. In the Production Manager go to Add setup. Then click on cutter > Summa > Go produce. It will ask you where to find the folder to send the files to. You will have to have a folder set up on the network to send the files to from Flexi.

When using Summa F1612, you need to Setup Flexi with a Summa driver (SummaFlex or Summa GoProduce) so that it creates .oxf or .sgp files. You will not be able to run the flatbed cutter directly from Flexi. However, if you export .pdf files from Flexi, it is possible to set up a hotfolder to achieve an almost direct output (not for print and cut).

All print and cut requires a cutter driver in Prod. Manager, so start there and it will make sense.

Do you have the Pro Pack option for GoProduce? If not, buy it - it makes it all so much easier.

We do see the option in production manager to add the Summa. There are a couple options to add, "Summa F Series" or "GoProduce"? Also, we do have the pro pack for GoProduce, care to elaborate on how it makes it easier?
