UV Printer for metal Plates

Starting to look for a UV printer that can print direct to Metal placards/plates such as Vin number plates. Must be able to withstand sun, weather and elements long term. is this doable? or am I dreaming. Currently (outsourcing)having them screen printed then Engrave the serial numbers onto them. Would like to do it all in one file. similar to the ones pictured. Not my pictures just a google search. what machine or company would you recommend if any certain one. Looking to print large qty.

We use our FluidColor Flatbed UV printer to make things like this for one customer. We rip it at High Quality print mode (600x1200 dpi) and print it also at High Quality (which is unidirectional) for best resolution. We laminate ours (cause we laminate most things) so they should hold up at least 10 years in full sun.

Pretty much any commercial UV printer can do this. The issue of detail and durability relies mostly on the ink used.

I think you should take a look at this printers. You get a print that not laying on top of the plate like uv does.
