ValuJet 1204 overspray issue

I have a fuzzie background around text and objects sent to Valujet 1204 (solvent ink printer) from Onyx.
Not getting a neat print. Suggestions? Thanks, Carol

Is the spray primarily black and/or magenta? If so, most likely head height is too high.

If you are running in high, try to use the low position. If you have recently replaced a head, it may need adjusted.

Post a picture. It could be over spray from a printer issue or it could just need to be aligned. A picture will make it easier to tell.

I used the lower head setting.
Looks ALOT better. I remember trying the lower setting years ago and the
head caught on the edge of the banner media.
I think even the 15 oz. banner media is thinner these days.

High settings for banners and other thicker material....like canvas or other fabrics.
