Vector to KKR

Not sure if this has been posted before.

Vector has sold out to KKR another private equity firm for One Billion dollars.
Vector paid 124 million when they purchased CorelDraw and they then spent another 30 million to take the company private.

Total investment $ 154 million and profit on selling to KKR $846 Millon!
Changing to subscription-based software made this company very profitable and what they call a cash cow!

Yes, it's been mentioned here a few times, as it was announced last July. Correction, though: KKR did not buy Vector Capital. They bought Corel from Vector Capital.
