versa works and corrupt pdf

Anyone know or had this happen before? Anytime I save a file from Illustrator as a .PDF and try to load it into versa it says corrupt file. No drop shadows, transparencys, just a gradient.
Never had this with pdf files.

I've had that issue happen far too often, as well. Try saving the file as .eps instead.That's usually all I have to do to get it to work.
