Need Help Versacamm 640i

Hey Guys,

So I'm after some advice. I had to switch my Versacamm 640i off for about 10months and obviously now ink doesn't come out when doing the nozzle check. I live about 17 hours away from Roland techs so I was wondering what I should look at to get it going again?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Ouch! It is never good to leave these without power if not flushed correctly. You can try a head soak (search this forum) but there is a chance you need a new printhead and some more parts. Hope someone else can give better advice.

If you didn't drain the ink and fill with cleaning solution, you most likely will need at a minimum a new head, new dampers, new capping station w/pump, new ink cartridges and cleaning cartridges and possible ink lines. It;s not going to be cheap.
