Versaworks not loading files properly

I'm using Photoshop CS6 and Flexisign Pro Cloud

I export files as .eps or .pdf (not typically) to print with Versaworks

yesterday whenever i'd load a file into versaworks it would get to 90% and say the file was corrupt. i restarted the computer and it worked fine

today when i load a file into versa it lags when it gets to 90% then finishes loading.... but about 1/3 of the file is just black. I know it's not the input file cause i saved it as a pdf and opened it and the image is just fine, until it's loaded into versa... any idea whats going on?

I'm glad i didnt print these full size since it's 80x24" and did a 10% scale first...

restarting the computer again did nothing to remedy the issue

well... i think i may have determined that the file size is too large for versaworks to handle..., i reduced the image to 150dpi from 300 and it loaded properly...

i dont understand why it all of a sudden was an issue, i'vr been working with files this size since i started

Always keep in mind that Versaworks does not interpret vector files (EPS and PDF) exactly 100% the same as Adobe does. A simple vector file is fine, but once you start adding effects and transparencies, then I don't trust Versaworks. Our rule of thumb is that any "complex" files get flattened to TIFF before loading into Versaworks.
