VersaWorks questions/ GX500 kudos

Will VW ever have the capablity of sequential cutting? And it seems that
you cannot send a cut job to a cutter while driving the printer? Both of
these are production hurtles- and my old legs are tired. The good news
on my VP540/GX500 exerience is that I cut a 10+ foot print/cut yesterday
that was dead on. If the cutter didn't have to scroll back and forth from one
end to the other so many times... my nerves would be better. Gene

What did you do to stop the back and forth?

Sorry, just re-read. Yes the back and forth is an issue, especially with complicated cuts.
I there a way to take the contour cut and correct the sequence?
is this a function of the position compared to other cuts in the layer in the file?

Someone here I think Malkin, helped me with this a little while back. Very handy knowledge and it should be in the manual!

VW works in the same sequence as your layer stacking order in Ai.

I group lines of 10cm or so - depending on the desin - and stack them sequentially.

Will save you more than 20 minutes on a 1metre job sometimes.
