Hello, I m having a issue with my Versworks software, Im printing a 70" x 90" print with my Versacamm. I printed one part of the print , when trying to rip and print the second part of the print the program hesitated and the file I'm printing the name changed on the Queue to Preview_.tif. When i try to open or delete the file with it's new name the Versworks program shuts down. I'm puzzled!

I checked with our software specialist, and he thought it might be an issue of computer resources, since I am guessing those are pretty big files. Here are his suggestions:

1) Check memory in Windows via ‘Task Manager’
2) If possible, allocate more memory to VersaWorks via program memory application in Windows
3) *Reinitialize RVW so that ‘dump’ memory is cleared. *Save RVW setting before performing this otherwise, custom setting will get wiped.
4) Instead of ‘Rip and Print’, use ‘Rip’ (ripped the file first) then ‘Print’.
5) After first job is printed, if possible remove the job from the queue to free up the memory. Then, ‘rip’ and ‘print’ the second job.
