Vertical faint lines

Hey guys,

lately I've been having a problem with my machine printing a vertical faint line on my prints. It seems to always be in the same position and only when I'm printing on banner material. Any idea what could cause that/how to fix it? I'm using an SP-540i,

Here's a pic to see what I mean:

Looks like a pinchroller mark to me. When that happens with my Roland, I turn down the heat, and move the rollers out of the printed surface, so it is next to the main rollers.

I wasn't using rollers in the middle of this job. Only on the far left and right of the material.

The other thing I've noticed is that it only seems to happen on jobs that involve purple print. Maybe that's just a coincidence though. I've run other jobs that have had no problems.

+1 encoder strip behind where the head carriage travels. look for a speck of ink right above where the lines appear on the printer.
