Vinyl and Pressure washing

Hi!
I tried google and didn't come up with anything but I am looking for a site or photos that would show the damage after aggressive Pressure washing.
I have one customer that insists (two years after install) that the vinyl was bad or we installed it wrong because the surface has pealed up in some areas. To me it looks exactly like someone got after it with a pressure washer. I sent the pics to my vinyl supplier and they said the same thing.
Does anyone have any visual tools or photos out there for a show and tell?
Sure would appreciate it! We do tell people not to pressure wash the vinyls but.....well ya know how people forget things lol!
To make matters worse this is coming from a cop! They contacted me last year (one year after install) by phone and sent some pics. I told them what I thought it looked like then but to bring it in and I would take a closer look at work something out with them. They showed up today almost 2 years after install and they were not very happy that I wasn't going to admit that this was all my fault lol.....

I would have thought that too but I got the stink eye when I told him that this wasn't vinyl failure and it wasn't install error you would have thought that I just robbed a bank lol! If I wasn't so irritated it would be funnier!
Two years have past and he seriously looked at me and said "well, it should have lasted longer than that" I had to stifle the giggle as I told him that people who take good care on their vinyl get many years! I was told the first time (last year) that when they washed it (during a very cold spell here in MN) that it started to look bad.
Timeline like this
Graphics installed in May 2013
1st call comes in around April 2014 with pics of the vinyl (the vinyl face was worn right thru) no pealed up edges. No cracks. Many parts of car are like new still. Sheriff doesn't want to fork out the couple hundred again to redo the one car that he has so he tries to make me the bad guy.
Told him to bring it in and I would work with him to get it looking good again.Today-sends his deputy down with car because he knows that the deputy is the one who drives car and takes care of it. I again told the deputy that I would certainly work with them to get it fixed up but I am not going to just redo the whole car for free-more stink eye, so I asked him what he would like to get out of the deal....sullen silence and mumbling that it should last longer...........

Thanks for letting me vent but it occurs to me that it would be a good idea to have some pictures and photos to show people what happens if they pressure wash. This is only the second time we have had to deal with anything like this so I don't have any from my own stock to show people. The other time was a sign with bad laminating and I replaced that free even though the previous owners did the work.

We do have a detailed form for wraps but I guess for basic lettering we just have not had a problem so I haven't bothered with the full round of paperwork. We typically do tell them what to expect and how to get long life by avoiding yada yada.
This is the first big stink in over 3.5 years of ownership and I guess it will be chalked up to lessened learned!

post some pics. There more than a few here with decades of experience in vinyl.
Pressure washer damage is very obvious.

You can't fix stupid. I can however refer him to one of my customers with a 17 truck fleet and a new high temp / hi pressure washer that suddenly has some lettering coming off after three years. No problems till the new machine arrived at there shop. Gee, I wonder what could have happened all of a sudden?

Was it a WRAP or just vinyl lettering? We don't really warranty anything (we don't do wraps) past about 1 year....There's too many things that can go wrong with customers and elements to be replacing vinyl every time someone's window washer grinds too hard on our stickers, or someone power washes their trailer for example. If it still looks good after 1 year, and customer hasn't complained - then it's no longer our responsibility to fix it.
