? vinyl for fabric faced lightbox

I have 2 @ 1m x 1.2m external light boxes to do that have a tensioned banner type face, would banner vinyl be ok or is there a different vinyl.
This is the first one I've had to do, I've done heaps of the normal faces over the years but not one of these. Should the vinyl be applied while it's tensioned, if I remove the faces and do it while un-tensioned I was thinking it may stretch and the vinyl lift.
Also I'm a bit worried that the design has a tree with no foliage, so has thin branches down to wispy ends that may not stick properly (may lift), would the tree be better off painted?
Any suggestions would be grateful.

Cheers Gary

We always use translucent vinyl, the same as you would use on a rigid faced light box. And yes, tension the fabric first then apply the vinyl.

we apply our trans. vinyl prior to stretching the material, never any problem.
maybe try overlaminating the tree with clear vinyl + bleed to assist?
