I've moved to Japan, and have started taking photos of signs and type whenever I get a chance, as their different approach fascinates me.

Something else which fascinates me, is how long they will hold onto a sign...

Yeah good thanks mate. Settling in ok. There are alot of bike shops around, mostly Japanese though surprise surprise! I wanna check out a local sign shop one of these days but still havent had a chance. The designs here are so weird... Alot of text, not many graphics, and very busy designs. Hows the crazy weather going? 46degrees the other week i heard... And floods this week.

Oh yeah typical Oz summer so far - 47C and bushfires last week, half the country flooded now. How about that weather, eh?

We loved Japan when we stopped over on the way to Europe last June.
They really do some fabulous custom bikes.
And the signage was a spectacle, kinda Blade Runner in places.

I gave Gabby a nutritious lunch at this place while out shopping. I hear it's very good for the skin.
