Vinyl on a banner. Adhesion problem.

Im making a couple of banner out of Bandana banner, and Im using oracal 651. After Ive applied the vinyl and squeegeed the heck out of it, it still wants to pull up when I take off the tape. If I let it sit awhile, it does better, but still not like it should. This has happened a couple times before. Any of you had that problem, or know what is causing this?

i clean my banners for vinyl with denatured alcohol - seems they powder em up a bit to keep em from sticking, much like sandblast resist

as mentioned make sure that it is squeeky clean, the other problem that I have had is when the vinyl is really cold. if your shop is on the chilly side let the material warm up before trying to apply vinyl to it (or help it along with a heat gun)

We use 100% isopropyl alcohol, and if you are still having problems with adhesion, warm the vinyl with the transfer tape still on. I use to use an iron set on low, use carrier paper for protection.
