Need Help Vision 25 series Router-engraver stopping

I have had every problem under the sun with my Vison 25, over the past 7 years. It's just a nightmare and their customer care is just appalling.

That said, I've have a new issue today.

At the end of engraving the file, any file, the router freaks. It should stop spinning and lift up to return to home but it doesn't. The bit continues to spin and stays in position on the plate with no more movement.

Any thoughts?

This happens occasionally on our vision 1624 as well, only solution I've found is to turn off the controller and turn it back on.

i am not familiar with your unit, but, i wonder if it is waiting to "cool down" the spindle & possibly has a bad sensor or thermistor & is not sensing the cooling off effect

Hm, I'll look into that. I had increasing issues in the previous room as it would get hot as heck in there. Have since relocated the whole shop to a much better space that I can keep fairly cool and the problems have been much less.

Well, I had it off overnight and the darn thing is still doing it
