VP-540 heads dropping in and out

I have a vp-540 that had 25% of the head firing so i changed the cap and i got it to fire about 60% then I did about 4 medium cleanings and now it is back to 25% does any body have any suggestions??

Is the cartridge almost empty? Also, the hose at cap to pump can sometimes come loose over time, the rubber can swell just a bit. Snip off a 1/4 inch and reattach

Change the damper?. They get clogged over time.

Change the damper, then power clean to fill lines

If it's empty and you've tried to fill the lines then you may likely have a air leak in a o-ring on the damper or a cracked line or the cartridge is empty.

check to see if the Y cartridge is empty and didnt tell the machine= run the damper dry.
