VP 540 or XC 540

I am currently running a SP540V, I am going to add another unit.
How many are running the Take Up System on the VP? How do you like it? any issues with it. I know the cost per sq ft on the VP, What about the XC? Common sense tells me to go with the VP, but I sure would love to have the speed of the XC.

Die cutting

Can you help me with the take up, We do alot of small die cut decals, does the take up reel back up? Or do you just use it for constant runs?

We have the vp540 take up system and its great! But it doesn't back up to do the contour cuts for decal runs. I find I just do them in smaller batches.
