VP540 question/material question

Hi Guys, We recently bought a vp540 and I was curious to see if anyone else has trouble with certain materials not staying flat while printing? I particularly have problems with 13oz banner material raising up while printing thus ruining the print It doesn't seem to make a difference if I use all the wheels or just two, long media clamps or short, high heat or low heat...any tips? Is it just bad or stretched material? <--my guess

Any feedback would be great. Thanks guys.

we have the same problem. you are using reverse wond banner. we keep pulling off extra material from the roll it will be find just keep it from having to pull it off of the roll

Our heat on the vp-540 is maxed out. We haven't had a problem with banner prints and we print 13/14 oz banners pretty often.

un-winding the media will definately curtail this problem.
