VS-540 putting down light cyan lines/blotches

Hey guys,

Have tried searching extensively but haven't found anything quite like this.

The issue is it is putting down light cyan in lines blotches in roughly the same spot, but in all different shapes, such as single lines, then blotches.

I've tried cleaning the encoder strip with Isopropyl Alcohol which may have helped but in the end it was still doing it. (I cleaned it a few times)

I've tried different files exported from different computers in different formats.

I've tried manual and powerful cleans.

Similar issue happened before, except with magenta in a different position yet not quite as bad, Roland tech came and fixed it with a myriad of parts, who I've contacted again but in the mean time I'm desperate for a solution.

Please see attached photos

Thanks greatly for any info and help.

Hi.
Looks like an electric command issue.
Check or replace the print-head cable. Clean it with isopropylic alcohol.
If you don't know what you are doing wait for the tech.

Thanks for your reply, appreciate it.

Tech came today but I was out of the office - apparently he was there all day so must have been a big job.

Thanks
