VS 640 DX5 Printhead

I have an versacamm VS-640, the printhead have any dead spot, I want to change, but the cost $1300, so I hold this change. Yesterday I buy Epson B-310 printer for $450, the head is similar to my VS-640, I read some tread here that Roland head is overpriced Epson Head, is it possible that this little epson printer have same printhead to versacam VS-640? Is it possible to replace vs 640 printhead with this little epson printer head.

That head

That head will not fit. There are several kinds of the DX 5 print head but that is not one of them. Be carful because the water based DX 5 heads will fail when solvent ink eats the plastic top of the head. I can get you the correct head for $895.00

Well since it very similar I taught it will fit to VS 640, I read that epson printhead for 10600 series is the same dx4 printhead to XJ-740 so I just imagine it will be cheap if the epson b310 printhead fit VS-640 head. I think I will keep my printhead until it makes problem to me

Hola, tengo una VS640 aqui en España, y me esta dando unos errores que no saben solucionar, ¿me padrian decir donde se puede comprar un cabezal dx5 a buen precio? Gracias

Roland VS 640 use a professional Roland head, in China, we call it DX6 head. Absolutely not DX5 head.
Please check the picture in attachment.
You have to buy original Roland VS 640 head, of course, you can try find a better offer.
