Vworks asking for dongle?

I rebooted my rip computer and now VW won't open- it gets stuck at
'loading device information'. I have been searching the net and Roland
site and I *think* maybe the printer LAN address changed or something
similar. Has anyone run into this? I have a service request in to Roland
as well. Thanks Gene

In your printer settings menu your computer/router I.P. address must match your printer I.P. settings. I use 192.168.0.254

Also, the subnet mask needs to be set to 255.255.255.0.

That's about all I know.

I got this from Roland at 4:06 (6:06 central time):

Try updating Roland Versa work. You can update roland versa work by click on start programs, Roland Versa work, then on line updater. If after you updated Roland Versa work and still having issue, you would need to uninstall and reinstall Roland Versa work.

Then at 4:09 the case was closed.

What worked- Start>Programs>Vworks>initialize.

You lose all of your program settings but not the profiles you have built
(I am backing up that stuff as we speak).
