Want to Print a good solid - How?

My 3500 CP will print a good blue, red, and black, but when it comes to yellow or grays forget it., It prints a screen and it looks terrible. Say that I want to print a pms 126, it will be a solid yellow with red dots. Same with grays. I use a Wasatch RIP from eps files.
Any ideas

It's better to have two hands than one glove.

Try turning off color correction, properly setting your rendering intents, and upping your dither algorithm.
