Want to print on comply on the Edge

I have to print this graphic for a guy's Harley gas tank and he wants shiny gold. With the contours of the tank I figure it will be a lot easier to apply with a comply vinyl. I know I can tape a piece of comply to a 15" punched vinyl. but wondered if there are other easier methods to do this?

I thought they made a 15" edge ready comply.

but what I do, rather than tape to existing vinyl, is actually lay down the material onto old discarded 15" punched vinyl

Fellers sells us 180c 15" punched. You can use an edge foil like GoldMedal to get a gold chrome look.
