A customer has 2 Japanese trucks, from Japan and want to know, if the plastic bumper can have vinyl used that will stick to it ?? It's a 2023 Mitsubishi

I originally said no, but she has now asked me for a third time, almost as if someone is saying it can be done..... if I can research it further.

Oh yeah, this has a slight texture to it. I forgot to mention that.
try Substance - it is marketed for motorsports and seems to stick to any low surface energy items we have had requests for -- anti-graffiti paint is no match - porta-potties, Igloo coolers (textured) - seems to stick to everything... just print these parts on Substance and the rest of the vehicle on your preferred media.

I already know regular or color change vinyl does not stick. This 'substance' might work, but not sounding very convenient.

yeah... it sticks to anything - if not careful you can wrap fingernails...(daughter says better than painting them!)

They will likely send you a sample roll to try...

That piece looks like 6-8 inches unless your talking about the hood..
Slap it on there and tell them not sure with the texture.
I’d Cut them a couple extra little 6 in strips for free and give it to them in case it craps out in a year after they run it through a car wash…

Is that the graphic that you're installing on there? If so, you could probably just add some primer and use something like 3M IJ180 (LSE version if you have it) and call it a day.
