Web site critique and suggestions please.

I posted a thread last week because I discovered that my site had problems
when viewed using Firefox browser. All the links had big blue boarders around
them that could not be seen in IE, or in the design software I use. I guess
it has been that way since first created back in 2001. Hard to believe no one
ever pointed it out. Fred said he just thought I had bad taste....
Anyway, I have been busy fixing the problems. The site looks better now, even
in IE.

Could I please get some critiques and suggestions from anyone who has a
minute to look it over. Especially those using Firefox. You may need to click
refresh if you have been there before.

Thanks.

Damn you for tricking me into going over there!

You have such great fonts. I've already purchased many of them but now I see there are others that are calling to me.

That other thread asking "Why are there so many fonts?" made me chuckle.
It's an addiction.

Muahhh haa haa....My little plan worked!

No, really. Not that a few sales would not be nice. I want some serious feed
back from you guys (gals). I just can't get over the fact that my site looked
so ugly for so many years on some browsers and no one said anything. If there's
something that look bad let me know.... If you see a few fonts that you can't
do without. Cool!

Do you mind if I ask what program you are using to create your images?

The reason I ask is if you are using Corel, you may want to make sure when you are exporting you images you have "Sub-format:" set to "(4:4:4)". Your images will look much crisper, especially your reds. When it is set to "(4:2:2)" the edges where some colors touch are kind of fuzzy.

There is Joe D; posted on another thread: 'where is Joe D' earlier. :Big Laugh
I like the way it looks. By the way, I admire your work sir.

When I had viewed the list of fonts before, I had noticed that some of them had slightly different black levels than the others, resulting in a slightly visible rectangle.

That seems to be mostly gone now, although there is a thin white line around Edoras, Carolina, and partially around Stockyard. I can only detect these by viewing the page at an extreme angle on an LCD monitor. Really really minor.

Joe, Yes I am using Corel and Photoshop. I will check that setting next
time, thanks. A lot of my older graphics need to be updated or replaced.

Malkin, You are right, I reciently upgraded my monitor and noticed the
difference in the black backgrounds there. I fixed the ones noticable, I'll
have a look at the ones you pointed out.

One thing I'm thinking is, with everyone going to the wide screen monitors,
my pages may need to be adjusted with more of a horizontal layout. But
that would take a lot of work to change.

thanks for the feed back guys, it means a lot. :U Rock: :thankyou:

And thank you jhill, I corrected all the problems that you pointed out
this morning.

Using FireFox 3.6.8

The page you linked. At the very bottom this is what I see. It may be that you intended on this but it looks odd to me. Is your logo supposed to be on the very left of the paragraph? Almost looks like it should be to the left of the "Art Type Extra" image.

Everything looks just fine Steve.......just as it did before (at least for me). I never saw any of the issues that you mentioned.
