Hi everyone, my name is Glenn and I'm a sign dude.

I have been in the game for 35 years.
Started out digging footings and sweeping the shop.
Soon began apprenticing as a sign painter. (anyone remember lettering quills?)

I have worked at every position in the sign business, except sales,
so I have a solid understanding of fabrication possibilities.
Been doing mostly sign design and production guidance for the past 20 years.

I won first place in the Signs of the Times design contest in 1996
for a two million dollar display at McCarran airport, Las Vegas.

I hope I have something to offer.
I look forward to getting to know you guys.

Glenn, welcome to the forum. As one of the younger guys who has yet to try anything hand-painted (though I would love to learn), I look forward to your posts.

Welcome to a great forum Glenn. Im afraid my quills stay in my lettering kit these days (along with my pounce bag and linseed oil). Great to see another old timey face!
