Well, it finally happened...

After nearly 3 years the media holder (bar) finally got dropped with a full roll of banner material on it. Both of the collars (grey and black) broke.

Anyone have a source where I can order new collars?

If not, maybe there's a Mutoh graveyard somewhere over in Africa near the place where elephants go.

Yeah - I know. Unfortunately, it may be on the agenda sooner than later. I'd like to try and squeak at least another year out of this one....

If you need to use it until you get the parts put your printer and plotter back to back and use the media holders off the plotter.. ha ha

Or if you have no space like me take the media roller off the plotter and set it on cinderblocks or something behind the printer..

I only do this to fit larger rolls on the printer.
