Well what to do now.

What's a buss? Can you drive one?

I'm kidding... I like idea of going back up to the oil fields and doing decal work. There's alot of safety signage that needs to stay up to date. Get good at recognizing when a safety sign isn't in the right spot or out of date.

It's also a way to "Camp out" waiting for one of them to hire you back if that's what you really want to do.

That was my thought. I know there have been a few posts on mobile shops working out in new construction areas.

Thanks for the supports guys.

I think I'm to try something on my own for abit. I'm going to looking into just doing installation. When I was with my parents I'd get call every so often from companies that found my name on the 3M website, most of the job didn't work out due to our high pricing but there is a need for installers around. I know alot of the smaller companies around I know there's a lack of good installers in the area.

Just playing with the idea no I need to get some figures down on paper.

Thanks

Always amazes me when someone has worked with family for a number of years and "had enough and quit".

Some of the best businesses I've run into over the years are family owned.

Good luck with your search for a new job. It isn't easy out there in the real world.
