What adhesive to use?

I'm looking for an adhesive, most likely a spray adhesive, to apply poly-styrene signs to plastic seed hoppers like the one pictured on the link.

Any body have any idea what might be the ideal adhesive for this application?

not much surface area to adhere to if they are going flush on the ridges

Are the signs going in that little recessed area? on the right hand side of the photo?

If so I would think about using clear silicone,

If you are uncomfortable with that then use 3M's Super 77 (I am assuming like you were thinking)

but I hate the mess of the spray

Other than that why not use a strong thin double sided tape, like a banner tape
