What are those for ?

I bought a VS300 praticuly new from a guy, the printer came with these two parts (see picture) . Anyone can tell me what is for ?

You will find what they snap to located on the same rail as the wheels. They are for holding down the edge of banner material and keeping the loose fibers on banner material from touching the print heads. As mentioned above, remove before using sheet cut or you'll be replacing the cutter blade.

You probably have two short ones on it now at each end of the pinch rollers.
Pull the short ones off, and use the long ones for banner material.

Banner media clamps.Dont cut the media after printing or your in real trouble.

If it were an older machine you'd be right, but the VS series will actually detect them, beep, and display a message to remove them. Once they're removed and you close the front cover it sheet cuts as usual. Do it all the time.

They also don't come with short media clamps, just the long ones pictured.
