I realize this is highly debatable, and highly custom as the font needs to fit the sign. However, I am curious if we can get some consensus on just top ten. What is your opinion?

...and I'm man enough to admit that I've used A LOT of Bleeding Cowboys this week. Doing a complete design package for a project that had to tie in with their current stuff which was all in BC.

Okay, when you break the family trees open that's actually about 150 fonts but I'm a big fan of using different weights of the same font to do design work. Matter of fact I'd say 90% of what I do most weeks uses those fonts. I remember reading a Communication Arts article years ago about the best thing you could do to grow as a designer is to figure out what your five most used fonts were and delete them from your system. Sounds like good advice....try it and let me know how it works out for you. I'm too scared to do it.
