what design program and registration marks plugin for vinyl Express Q series?

can someone please help. I have no idea what program to buy and what registration marks program can I use for my vinyl express Q series. The machine did not come with anything 4 years ago except easycut studio. I want to use adobe illustrator but what plugin do I need to add registration marks? Can I use cutting master 5 since graphtec is the manufacturer of vinyl express? How do I add the plugins. Thank you.

Better use CM4. The install takes care of adding the plugin to Illustrator. Sure Illustrator With CM4 is the best combination of sign software, but EasyCut Studio can create regmarks as well.
