What gets you to the shop and back?

I have a three step commute. Some mornings it can take a little longer to get there if I hang a left between home and the office for the morning constitutional.

Lump me in with the pedestrians who work at home. I absolutely love my morning commute.

Ahhhh...truth be told...I live 3 blocks away from my shop, so I walk most days. (unless I have errands to run, etc.)

It's kinda funny how many people pull over & offer me rides too. They think nobody in their right mind would ever WANT to walk somewhere...but I love it!! (Hmmmm...wonder why we've become so obese??)

Depends on how I feel, what I'm doing or what the wife is driving.

03' Jetta, 01' Chev 1/2ton, 01, TJ on 36's or our 08' Endeavour

Most of the time it's the Jetta, it's the best on gas.

One of these is mine:

I'll give you a hint. Mine isn't one of only 500 and I don't have bags of money lying around.

This gets me to the shop and back from jobs that require a little more carrying capacity than the mustang can provide:

Not sure what it is... but it's cool! The rims look like Porche 928's?

It's either a VW Polo or Lupo tricked out with a set of shiny "pram wheels".

VW, but those look like 928 wheels

Together you were all right :) Its a VW Lupo, the shiny "pram wheels" are indeed OEM Porsche 928 wheels, imported from usa, chrome finish was a dealer option there, unlike europe where they only came painted silver.
Its a 1.2 litre 3-cylinder turbo diesel engine that does about 80mpg, not the worst choice considering gasoline/diesel cost about $8/gallon over here..
