What I Really Hate

I hate it when I bid a job and think your getting a good price and then the guy doesn't even flinch and says "Is that all". We bid 5k and left 2 grand on the table that other shops bid. Crap..... Oh well. Happy customer and immediately got another job from it.

Boats, planes, personal cars and other luxury items ... NEVER bid cheap!

They love to brag about how much that it cost them.

The most important thing I've learned in my first year on my own is always bid high enough that you won't be worried if you are awarded the job. If you don't get, oh well. If you do, you know you are making a reasonable profit, so don't lose sleep over "money on the table", as they may just be holding it for you until the next job
