What kind of printers are these?

I am having a hard time identifying that big white thing that someone says is a printer. Any ideas?

I think I solved the other one, I believe it's a Redsail Chinese Plotter, what do you think?

It's an online auction, sometimes I look at them, these two caught my eye. However the plotter is a piece of junk, but curious about the big white thing.
