What material for pre-spaced removable wall graphics?

I'm trying to figure out what the best material would be to use for pre-spaced removable wall graphics. Specifically I need to print and cut text (4'x2') to go up on a wall for 2 months. Wall is painted sheet rock with eggshell finish, so has a bit of a texture to it. I'm looking into oracal 3268 and jarhead. Would prefer to use jarhead as I can get it in 27"x30' vs 30"x150' of the oracal. Never having done removable pre-spaced wall graphics before, I'm concerned about the app tape pulling the graphics off the wall after applying (customer is installing graphics) Also concerned about damaging the paint when graphics are removed after 2 months.

If anybody has experience with these or similar materials for this use please let me know how it has worked out.

You should do an adhesion test before going forward. The adhesive works better with some paints than others. I've tried multiple films but never found anything that worked consistently. Phototex had a higher success rate but even that had some walls it wouldn't stick to.

BTW I'm not sure if 3628 is designed to be contour cut. I'm not sure if you are planning on doing that or not but your post mentioned application tape, so I'm making some assumptions.

As far as damaging the paint, you really can't make any guarantees. It shouldn't but that really depends more on the quality of the paint and the painter than the graphics.

Yes these will be contour cut. I have used phototex in the past with success, but not with contour cut graphics. Can it be used for that?

In the fellers catalog oracal 3268 says great for contour cutting.

I contour cut phototex all the time and it work fine. If you want ''regular'' vinyl, the mojave ''wall graphics'' is great (print with l26500).

I couldn't remember the specific film but some of them are better suited for murals than contour cuts. I remember there was a discussion on the forums recently and that was brought up.

I've contour cut phototex before and haven't had issues however I've never applied application tape to it. All of the graphics we've contour cut on phototex have been simple enough not to need application tape.

We did try applying application tape to one of the oracal wall film products a couple of years ago and had some difficulty getting the application tape to release without pulling the graphic off the wall. We managed but it was just time consuming. I could do it, not sure if one of my customers could have managed it on their own though.
