... the little designation under everyone's names??? Mine says "college freshman," some say "college senior," some say "phD", some say "Preppie" or "Premium Subscriber." Is this based on number of posts or responses? This has confused me for years. thought i would finally ask....

Those are user titles and are based how many posts the member has made. They are overridden if the member has a premium or merchant subscription.

Preppie = 0
College Freshman = 25
College Sophomore = 200
College Junior = 400
College Senior = 600
Bachelor of Arts = 800
Master of Arts = 1000
PhD = 1500

The premium subscription is not that much of a cost, and honestly its worth it for all the extra forums...And if you keep your eyes out, Fred on occasion will run a special to increase the time for the same cost...
