What type of wood should we use in this case?

We have done just a handful of routed wood signs. Sign is two 2'x12' boards routed and painted.

What do you think would be the best wood to use?

Pressure treated? Cedar? Something else?

I'm worried about warping later. I know PT sometimes has a tendency of doing this.

If you have to replicate what is there now, go with 2" thick cedar.
