What vinyl for decals for underwater equipment?

Have a possible new customer. They build equipment and some will be used under water. The decals are small (4" x 4"), but need to withstand the elements. Can anyone recommend a vinyl and laminate to use---printed on my Roland XC-540. Thanks for any feedback!

One caution, since this is a water application, I think a stencil and paint application might be a better solution.
