You should print black on 3M SV480mC w/ 8548 and call it day or reverse cut on Gerber Mask and One Shot it.

In reality, you're way over thinking this. In fact, let the customer decide. "Do you want it to look good UP TO 5 YEARS or do you need it to last longer? Here's the price difference $$"

651 is fantastic. It's economical to. It might be the best calendered film ever.
I decaled a coffee vender in Phoenix 5 years ago. 5 hot Phoenix summers.. temp's get up to 118. It still looks like the day I put it on.
 
I am using Arlon DPF 4600LX, its a very flexible calandered vinyl. You save alot of money if you aren't needing it to wrap crazy bumper contours and stuff. I love this material for most of my jobs.
