Hi All!
So...
It is a well known fact that people come and go from this industry every day.
I like to think of us all as rocks & debris.
Some of us, like rocks, break free and become part of a strong base of the industry.
Others, like dust and debris, come and land on stuff at the most inopportune times. Annoy those around them for a period of time. Then POOF, gone with the slightest strong wind, as quickly as they came in.
Ok enough with the lame analogy. Sorry. Long day today...
So this new shop pops up in my area. No prob there. There is enough business for us all. Plus they probably do different stuff then I do and vice versa. But I took a look at their store front recently.
And, subjectively, its a horrible design. Virtually invisible from more then 3 feet away. AND its rife with grammatical and spelling errors. I mean not the typical "no one would notice but another sign guy" type of errors. Or the "typing really fast to get my point across on some online forum before i get back to work" type of errors. But the remedial reading and writing 101 type of errors.
What would you do?
Well the pointing and laughing privately to myself is complete.
Do I go the good fellow sign guy route and drop them a line to let them know? I fear they might take offense no matter how I worded or delivered the message.
Do I take pictures (that I have already taken lol) and use them as an example of what not to do?
Do I just let it be and let their own advertising be their demise?
(NOTE: I did not post the photo because with the influx of new NEW members here, they very well might be reading this... )
Thanks for your opinions.
