Not just some.... Most type based logos are created with either very heavy node editing to an existing typeface or font .....or they, like "Walgreens" was most likely created at the drawing board or easel by a "Lettering Artist". Nowadays... it is more prevalent to be the previous with so-called designers. On the other hand, many older logos inspire type designers and lettering artists and influence new fonts. Many LHF fonts are a prime examples of fonts being based on the vintage works created by "Lettering Artists".There are some logos that have been around for a while that were custom creations and not made directly with a font. This looks to be one of them as the two 'e's look different.
Works just fine for what i'm doing Thank You !!
