Whats your experience with the Epson S80600 Printers?

Ours is negative, compared to the previous experience with the similar type Mimaki printers. We owned Epson for bout 4-5 years, and in this time - Had to pay to extend warranty twice, I believe it was $2500 per year. Both heads went bad on the 2nd year and had to be replaced under warranty. Also, the wind up take up motor went bad, and had to be replaced under warranty. This past 1.5-2yr we were flying with no warranty, and one of the heads went bad (electrical short cut issues). We had to tape it off, and disconnect it, and were able to run the printer in a single head mode for about 4 months. Now the last remaining print head shorted and needs replacement. We're a very clean, mindful, and experienced users. I do not think our environment or procedures caused any of the problems we had. We also never run silver/gold/white and the silver slot always had a solvent cleaning cart in. I'm checking to see if any other seasonal operators had similar amount of issues or did we get an unlucky lemon and our negative experience is a single printer issue?
We had ours for a year and a half. It prints beautifully. I have had media jams. Cleared them, back to business. No head strikes. No head replacements! Easy to clean and maintain. I have had it off for 4 days and runs like it has been running all week. The only thing I don't like is the warm up times, and the time between (ready) and (please wait). Well it gives me time to think to make sure I have selected the correct profiles and settings.

Just call me Chester.
If you don't like the warm up time of the epson, don't get a latex painter.
The 360 we had took forever to warm up.
I don't know if the newer ones are any better.
