You can order graffiti proof lam by the yard from gsg. Denser, less likely to stain.

Hoe Depot sells a white plastic sheeting the you could either make a frame to hang it or possibly 3M VHB tape!

home depot and lowes sell 4 x 8 sheets of the ORIGINAL DRY ERASE BOARD, and its under $20. its called melimine/plain white bathroom board/ white masonite!!! pic one all the same stuff!!!

We just purchased 10 sheets from our local Ace Hardware, it's on about 1/8" board. Bought before from Lowes.
