Where can I get outdoor LED edge light strips?

I have a project that would be ideal for edge lighting. Its a wind blocking panel out side a stores entry door. The owner is worried people on cell phones will walk into it so I have been asked to put some graphics on it to make it more visible.(it's clear Lexan)

I think edge lighting would be perfect for this. Where can I get a weather proof strip 12 to 16 inches long or so of LEDs that would clip on the edge of 1/4" Lexan?

Not really sure they make this but you could get the roll strip of LED that's really thin and then attach it to a plastic trim cap. I would be more worried about someone just ripping it off and taking it.

Here's a picture. These panels should be pretty much invisible at night!

Yea those should have been edge lit from the back with led so that the light actually lights up the panel. That's just waiting to get hit.

Yup... looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen. There is nothing on the panels right now... the strips in the photo are just Photoshopped in.

I've sent my idea off to the contractor that installed these. I can edge light them from the back edge. I called Luminedge and the fellow says he can supply waterproof strips so problem solved. Thanks for the posts.

BTW... I discovered that window frost lights up just like laser etched plastic. A lot easier that taking the panels down to laser etch them.
