Where can I get touch Architectural films for less than $4/sq ft?

Before I started in the sign business.... I was familar with Contact paper and more durable substances like Formica.
I just discovered ( I'm sure it is old news to a lot of you folks) architectural films. They are like thick contact paper with a hard formica surface.

Only problem is their price of around $4/sq ft and this is when I buy a 4x162' foot roll of the stuff.

Is there such a thing as a cheaper cost for this wonderful stuff? Any vendor recommendations are appreciated.

thank you so much I will call them on monday to see what pricing is like. I dont' see any distributor links so I assume they sell direct, and they are only a couple hours away from me! Again I really apreciate the lead. Hopefully their prices are reasonable.

Lorenzo is our sales lead there, you can ask for him specifically. They definitely sell direct and they have a pretty fancy schmancy sale kit/chip chain of their products they'll give to you.

unfortunately they told me I had to go through a distributor and webdon in charlotte, nc wanted $137 per 4x8 wood grain sheet. I asked if they did quantity discounts, and they said no. That is $4.28 a sq ft. Their door skin refinishing system was about $96 per door side or almost $200 to refinish a door. I told them I could just buy a new door for that price. Oh well.

There is a place in Chicago that does casino equipment and they will sell to you. They have most varieties of DiNoc. Sorry I can't find the link.(yes I looked)

I'm also going to try buying direct from china http://www.pvc-films.com/products/PVC-Wood-Grain-Film-25-1.html i'm getting some samples mailed to me, hopefully the quality will be good for some reason it seems like all these architectural films are made overseas. also found this place http://www.rvinyl.com/Wood-Grain-Vinyl-Film-Cherry.htm if you buy a $900 roll it works out to about $2.50/sqft.

Also try your local architectural firm. But you need the one that does high rises. Tall buildings are built with these cool devices called curtain walls. They hide all the ugly stuff inside and outside. What people don't realize is a lot of those are covered with vinyl to give the desired faux finish.

96 cents a meter sounds better, but the minimum order is 6000 meters! from china

so order total is about $6,000.00

Or I could buy it from the cheapest "USA reseller/vendor" who's equivalent price of $2.50/sq ft is about $26.75 per meter.

anyone need some oak wood grain laminate??? to help lessen the cost. Hopefully I can get some samples.

seems like we are discussing two different products here. the adhesive backed version like dinoc vs pvc foil (like used in a membrane press).

if you need short orders of pvc foil, the only supplier that i've found in the entire country is

as for dinoc, i'd also like to know of a source. i really like the more subtle dibond-ish finishes to print on. but i'm assuming whatever finish i
like in dinoc requires a $5k purchase of a single roll.

i don't understand differences?

I've gotten samples of senstart and belbien in the mail. I've been told it is the same stuff as 3M dinoc.

All of them are PVC films from what I read, basically thick contact paper with a more durable surfac.e

I guess I will have to requrest some samples of this pvc foil because I don't' quite grasp what it is? Is it just a PVC film with out adhesive on the bacK?
