Where is a good place to find a strip heater?

I am in need of a strip heater to bend some clear acrylic (or polycarbonate ). I've been asked to make some neon lettering to go in the window of a local restaurant, and I'm thinking about a clear back, with the sides filled to help hold it away from the window, and to prevent any fingers from reaching in.

I would like a 48" model.

Or does anyone have a better idea to make them?
