You got a winner of a dealer..... 35k for an HP latex that will not print on banner stock. lol

As mentioned you might want to check with some other dealers. The HP latex machine sprint on banners just fine and are less than 15k.

HP has it's own line of banner material and Ultraflexx banner material also prints great on it, your dealer is either ignorant or an ass.
